BEIRUT — Football is back in Lebanon.

After a three-month hiatus, and the energy on the pitch was palpable in the second week of the First Division League.

In the highlight game of the week, Al-Ansar cruised to a dominant 3-0 victory over Racing Beirut. Hassan Maatuk scored the first (48), while Ali Tneish added a brace — the second on this 68th and the third goal came in the 89th minute when he coolly converted a penalty, sealing the win in fashion.

Elsewhere, Al-Hikma stunned Bourj FC with a 3-1 away win, showcasing a commanding performance on the road. In a tightly contested match, Shabab Baalbeck edged past Al-Ghazieh 1-0, with a lone goal making all the difference.
