Why do we do what we do?
We believe football can bring people from all walks of life together. We believe in the power of football to shed light on deeper and wider phenomena. We believe football helps us connect with our roots and understand history. We believe football is the most beautiful and complex sport globally, and we believe in using said sport as a lens, from which we understand the world around us.
We challenge the status quo by covering stories that wouldn't otherwise receive the attention they deserve.
How do we do it?
We focus on deeper understandings, and we focus on local issues. We indeed live in a global village, and it is also true that we each represent our home town. We mix, doubt and test the definitions of mainstream, underground, periphery and centre, through footballing expressions.
