The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Morocco’s Local Organizing Committee have officially confirmed the six stadiums that will host matches at the much-anticipated TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) 2024, scheduled for 5–26 July.
In a historic move, the 2024 edition will be played across six different venues—doubling the number used in previous tournaments. The decision reflects the tournament’s growing stature and the rising popularity of women’s football across the continent.
Here are the confirmed venues:
Olympic Stadium (Rabat): A newly built, 21,000-capacity arena designed as part of Morocco’s broader investment in sports infrastructure.
Larbi Zaouli Stadium (Casablanca): A key venue during ongoing renovations at Mohammed V Stadium, previously used during the CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
Père Jégo Stadium (Casablanca): A 10,000-seater named after a legendary Moroccan coach and tactician.
El Bachir Stadium (Mohammédia): Historic stadium renovated in 2019 and home to SCC Mohammédia.
Honor Stadium (Oujda): One of the largest with a 35,000 capacity, it has recently hosted international fixtures.
Berkane Stadium (Berkane): A 12,000-seater and home of RS Berkane, upgraded in 2017.
