AFC U17 Asian Cup 2025 Groups Revealed

The road to the AFC U17 Asian Cup 2025 kicked off on Thursday with the official draw in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The 16 participating teams were placed into four competitive groups, all eyeing the prestigious title and eight coveted spots at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025.

Host nation Saudi Arabia, chasing a third championship, leads Group A alongside Uzbekistan, Thailand, and China PR. Defending champions Japan head Group B, joined by Australia, Vietnam, and UAE. In Group C, Korea Republic faces Yemen, Afghanistan, and Indonesia. Group D, meanwhile, features top seeds Iran, Tajikistan, Oman, and DPR Korea.

The tournament is set for April 3-20, promising high stakes as the continent’s future stars take the stage.
