What a night it was for Deinner Quiñones.
The Colombian winger joined Hapoel Be'er Sheva just two months ago, but couldn't find his form, mostly due to injuries.
Yesterday, however, it was his breakthrough, and the most important of the season for the southern club.
It was in the Israeli State Cup semi-final, when 28-year-old Quiñones entered just after half time and brought a new spirit to Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
His magic moment happened when the scoreboard showed 2-2 with a few seconds to go at the end of extra time.
Quiñones received a cleared ball, and with a tremendous volley sent it into the net, and Hapoel Be'er Sheva to the State Cup final.
BabaGol talked with Deiner Quiñones after the game to hear about his new adventure in Israeli football, and about his future goals.

Question: What did you think when the ball entered the net?
Deinner: "First of all I was very happy for the win. It was a very important match for us, and in the end it was a very emotional moment, mostly because of the timing. Congratulations to the team."
Question: When you were a kid in Tumaco, did you dream about a moment like this?
Deinner: "Yes of course, every kid dreams about moments like these when you love football. Today was one of those dreamy nights and we are looking forward to our next goal."
Question: Is this the best moment of your career?
Deinner: "It's a special moment, mostly because it's a new country, a new culture, a new language and I'm still learning."
Question: You played for some of Colombia's major clubs - like Atletico Nacional and America de Cali. What's the atmosphere like here in Israeli football?
Deinner: "I had the luck to play for a few major teams in South America. In comparison to Israel, I was surprised since I arrived about the atmosphere and how the fans live football here…mostly how the fans have welcomed me."
Question: Do you think about the opportunity to win the Israeli Cup, and what are your plans for next season?
Deinner: "I'll take it step-by-step. The league here is a bit difficult, but we’ll take it step-by-step and now we are thinking about our next league match and to get ready for the cup final".
Question: What is your biggest dream after your time in Israel? To play in Europe, return to Colombia to play with other major teams? Maybe to win the Copa Libertadores or to play in the Copa America?
Deinner: "For the short term, I want to lift the trophy here and for the long term I surely want to play in Europe and I strive for that - to work very hard in order to play for one of Europe's best clubs".
Question: And final question, who is the biggest club in Colombia?
Deinner (smile): "It's very tough question because I played in many great teams there, but to be honest the strongest and most respectful fans, I particularly love the fans of Independiente Medellin".
