Where will Musa al-Taamari, the biggest football star in Jordan, known as the ‘Jordanian Salah’, play after the 2021 winter transfer window?
This is the question that bothers everyone in Jordan in recent days.

Al-Taamari starred for the Jordanian side Al-Jazeera in 2017, with a rare campaign in the AFC Cup, which attracted a lot of attention to the player.
From there moved to APOEL Nicosia, Cyprus. His time in Cyprus was very successful, and al-Taamari attracted attention from across Europe. Later on, he went starring in the 2019 Asian Cup, when Jordan has put on an impressive group stage with tremendous victories over Australia and Syria and choked in the knockout.
Last summer, he moved to the Belgian club Oud-Heverlee Leuven. According to reports, al-Taamari did not get along in Belgium with the coach, Marc Brys, and as a result, he failed to take a regular place in the line-up. Suddenly the snow and the European winter, along with the coronavirus were a bit ‘too much’ for him.
Last week there were serious contacts between the Greek club, Aris Thessaloniki, who was told to be highly interested with the player. Yet, the Belgians, for their part, are not making life easier for al-Taamari. A rumour that they offered the player to Jordanian Al-Wehdat on loan, as a reinforcement for the AFC Champions League, was issued in an attempt to maximize al-Taamari’s price. The player currently resists. Let's see where he will be playing by the end of this window at 00:01 February first 2001.
UPDATE: According to reports, Oud-Heverlee Leuven demanded 1.5m Euros after agreeing on a fee of 1m after a six-month loan, has made the deal impossible for Aris. Al-Taamari will stay in Beligum.
