Papiss Cisse showed some great class during the weekend at Newcastle United’s match against Hull City.
Besides his two important goals, that saved his team a point, Cisse held an emotional gesture to his Argentinean teammate, Jonas Gutierrez, who is fighting testicular cancer these days.
After scoring, Cisse revealed a t-shirt with a message to Gutierrez which read ‘Always looking forward, Jonas’.

Speaking to Newcastle’s official channel after the match, Cisse then sent an inspiring message to Gutierrez, encouraging him to keep fighting for his health and life.
Gutierrez gave the assist to Cisse’s first-ever goal for the Magpies back in 2012, claimed the striker. A quick archive check brought this low-quality video, which supported the Senegalese’s story.
“Life is an obstacle”. This Beautiful sentence by Cisse, made BabaGol salute the striker. That’s the spirit. This Is Africa!
On this occasion, we wish Jonas Gutierrez the best luck, health and all the courage and energies to fight, probably, his hardest match so far.
Fuerza Galgo! Vamos Jonas!
